Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process personal data only where necessary to operate this website, provide its functions or respond to your enquiries.
This website does not use analytics or tracking services and does not use advertising or marketing pixels.
3. Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by IONOS.
When you access our website, information technically required to provide the website may be processed by the web server. This may include:

- amount of data transferred
- browser type and browser version

- referrer URL, where provided by the browser

Email Processing via Microsoft 365
Emails generated through the contact form are sent and/or processed using our Microsoft 365 email infrastructure. Personal data required to deliver and process the message may therefore be processed by Microsoft.
The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.
Where the use of Microsoft services involves processing outside the European Union or European Economic Area, such processing is subject to the applicable data protection requirements and safeguards provided by Microsoft.
FluentSMTP and Email Logging
We use FluentSMTP to technically connect WordPress email delivery to our email service.
For technical monitoring of email delivery, delivery logs are stored within our WordPress installation. These logs may contain information relating to emails that have been sent.
FluentSMTP logs are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Logging is used in particular to identify and resolve email delivery problems. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure operation of our contact and email functionality.
Regardless of this logging period, the content of an enquiry may be retained for longer as part of subsequent communication where necessary to process the enquiry or comply with statutory retention requirements.
5. Language Settings and Polylang
Our website is available in multiple languages.
To select an appropriate language, the language preference transmitted by your browser may be evaluated. This information is used solely to provide an appropriate language version of the website.
In addition, our website uses the functional pll_language cookie through the WordPress plugin Polylang. This cookie is used to remember the selected website language and/or provide the appropriate language version.
The cookie is not used to analyse user behaviour, for advertising, or for tracking users across other websites.
Where required, storage or access is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Related processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing a user-friendly multilingual website.
6. Embedded YouTube Videos
Individual pages of our website may contain videos embedded from YouTube, a service provided by Google.
When you access a page containing an embedded YouTube video, the YouTube player is loaded directly. The video itself does not play automatically. However, loading the player may already establish a connection to servers operated by YouTube or Google.
In particular, your IP address and technical information concerning your browser, device and the page you accessed may be transmitted to YouTube or Google. Depending on your browser, settings and whether you are signed in to a Google account, Google may process additional information and associate it with your account.
Therefore, simply not playing the video does not necessarily prevent data from being transmitted to YouTube.
For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The use of Google services may also involve processing outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Such processing is subject to the data protection safeguards implemented by Google.

Our website may contain links to our profiles or content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
These are ordinary links only. Simply visiting our website does not establish a connection to the respective social networks as a result of these links.
A connection to the respective provider is only established when you follow such a link and leave our website. The privacy terms of the respective provider then apply.
Embedded YouTube videos described in Section 6 are separate from these ordinary links.
8. No Web Analytics or User Tracking
We currently do not use web analytics services or cross-site user tracking on this website.
In particular, we do not use services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or comparable analytics and marketing technologies.
We also do not load Google Fonts externally. Fonts and icons required to display the website are hosted locally.
9. Data Retention
We generally retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose.
FluentSMTP delivery logs are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Data from contact enquiries is deleted once the respective enquiry has been conclusively handled, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require further retention.
Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
